- Dancers must be registered prior to attending practice.
- E-transfers must be sent to: romiosynidancegroup@gmail.com.
- Ensure that you type in the name of the dancer in the note of the e-transfer.

Attendance Policy
The attendance policy is applicable to performing groups, such as the Junior, Intermediate, and Senior Divisions.
If you are registering for the adult division, please skip to Step 3.
Performance Attendance Requirements
- Anyone who scores below 50% will not perform regardless of skill level or history of performing dances.
- If scores are 50% or over, the number of performances are based on everyone’s skill and attendance.
- The instructors reserve the right to use professional judgement/discretion for selections. They have the final say of the rosters.
Seminar Performance Attendance
- To perform at any conferences, attendance must be 70% or over and must know the dances.
- Dancers must have an attendance of at least 50% to go to conferences as a non-performer.
Excused Absences
- Must have a valid excuse (i.e., illness, school, and other special circumstances).
- Extracurricular activities will not count as an excused absence
- Dancers must inform teachers ahead of time that they will be late or need to leave early.
- You cannot make-up missed practices by accessing the Learning Portal.
Unexcused Absences
- Not informing your teacher prior to practice of your absence.
- Three or more unexcused absences for the entire dance year will result in a forfeit to performing.
Additional Policies
At the beginning of the year, all dancers must have the following items:
For practices:
- Proper clothing such as sportswear and sneakers
- Water bottle
- Medications (puffers, Epi Pen etc…)
For performances (talk to your instructors on where to purchase):
- Females:
- Nude and white tights
- Dance shoes
- Males:
- Gentleman shoes (black shoes with laces)
RDG Safe Space Statement
Romiosyni Dance Group is committed to ensuring that lessons and performances are conducted in a safe and inclusive manner.
Romiosyni Dance Group will:
- Help learners build healthy relationships, manage conflict effectively, and promote bullying/cyberbullying safety and awareness.
- Create more opportunities for learners to thrive by being more intellectually, socially, physically, and emotionally engaged.
- Reduce exposure to violence, including gender-based sexual violence and harassment for teachers and learners.
- Research resources for teachers around promoting positive learning climates.
In addition, the dance group will not tolerate discriminatory comments based on one’s:
- Gender identification.
- Racial, religious, and socio-economic background.
